Description

There are mornings when a single bloom says everything. This choker and earring set is built on copper, then kissed with gold plating that gives the metal a warm, honeyed glow reminiscent of old temple treasure. The centrepiece is a wide floral panel, measuring roughly 9.4 cm across and 9.4 cm in height, its petals arranged in the dense, symmetrical manner that Rajasthani artisans have long favoured when composing flower-form jewellery for festive wear. The choker itself sits close at the throat and closes on an adjustable chain so the fit can be altered to suit different necklines. Each earring is a compact one inch by one inch (approximately 2.5 cm by 2.5 cm) square of the same floral work, ensuring the set reads as a single, considered composition. The complete set weighs forty-seven grams, light enough to wear through a long evening without strain. Pair it with a silk tissue kurta in ivory or blush for a mehendi or sangeet afternoon, where the gilded copper catches candlelight beautifully.
