Description

There is a particular stillness in geometry, and this necklace set finds it. Rooted in the Kundan tradition that Jaipur's karigars have refined across centuries, the pendant centres a field of tie-dye-effect white stones set in the characteristic flat-foil Kundan technique, where each stone is pressed and secured within a raised gold-toned brass frame rather than clawed or prong-set. The result is a surface that feels both architectural and luminous. The geometric silhouette, built from interlocking angular forms, carries the measured symmetry one associates with the best Rajasthani court jewellery, where restraint was itself a form of opulence. Brass, worked here to a warm gilt finish, provides the structural foundation. The matching earrings echo the pendant's motif exactly, extending to approximately 5.5 cm in height and 2.5 cm in width, creating a coherent visual language across the set. The pendant, measuring roughly 3.8 cm tall and 3.3 cm wide, sits at the collarbone on an adjustable dori closure that extends to 25 cm, making it a natural companion for a silk chanderi kurta at a festival lunch or a heavily embroidered lehenga at a mehendi gathering.
