Description

Sunlight, it seems, chose to harden into stone. Citrine has been prized across the Indian subcontract for centuries, its warm amber-to-golden hue associated in Vedic tradition with solar energy, prosperity and the favour of Lakshmi. This bracelet works with that inheritance honestly: eight-millimetre beads of genuine certified yellow citrine, each one uniformly faceted or smoothly tumbled, are strung in a continuous loop that catches daylight and returns it in honey-coloured warmth. The colour sits in that particular register between pale champagne and deep marigold, the stone translucent enough to glow rather than merely shine. At seventeen grams, the bracelet carries real presence on the wrist without feeling heavy. No metal distracts here; the material itself is the statement, the beads reading as a single band of solar light. Worn alone, it suits a cream or ivory silk kurta on a day of quiet significance, a puja, a professional meeting, a celebratory lunch. Stacked with gold-toned bangles or a fine Meenakari bangle from Jaipur, it bridges heritage and contemporary dressing with ease. The free-size stringing accommodates most adult wrists comfortably; the elastic or knotted thread construction means no clasp to fumble with. Daily wear suits it well, though citrine, like all natural gemstones, appreciates being kept away from prolonged immersion in water and harsh chemicals. At this weight and these proportions, it is a piece worn close, felt gently, and noticed quietly.
