Description

There are practices older than ornament: the mapping of the body's invisible rivers. Seven stones, one for each chakra, are strung in deliberate sequence on an elastic cord alongside porous lava beads, whose volcanic surface has long been prized in contemplative traditions for absorbing essential oils and carrying their calm through the day. The stones follow the classical chakra order, from deep red at the root to violet at the crown, each one round-cut and 8 mm across, sitting flush against the wrist without metal setting or prong. Lava beads punctuate the sequence, their matte black texture throwing the colour of each gemstone into relief. This is not a jeweller's bracelet in the Kundan or Jadau sense; it belongs instead to a quieter lineage of intentional adornment, closer to the rudraksha malas of the hills than to the goldsmith's bench. Wear it alone on a bare wrist during morning meditation or pranayama, where the weight of 16 grams settles into a gentle, grounding presence. Pair it equally well with a handwoven cotton kurta for a weekend afternoon, or stack it against a plain silver kada for a considered, layered look at a casual gathering. The bracelet is free size, its elastic cord stretching to accommodate most adult wrists comfortably. At 8 mm per bead, the silhouette is substantial without being heavy. No clasp to fumble with, no sharp edges, and a construction light enough for all-day wear.
