Description

There is a particular red that belongs only to firelight and old Rajasthani haveli windows at dusk, and this earring carries it. Worked in copper alloy and set with cut glass stones in a deep garnet red, these earrings follow the visual language of Polki jewellery: flat-set, light-catching, unapologetically frontal. The silhouette is long and architectural, measuring three inches (approximately 7.6 cm) from top to drop, with layered tiers that echo the chandelier-style danglers beloved by Jaipur's jewellery workshops. The cut glass catches and refracts light in the manner of uncut diamonds, the effect at once theatrical and grounded. At 24.6 grams, the weight is present but considered, the copper alloy base giving the piece its structure without becoming cumbersome. The deep crimson is singular across the offering, exactly as pictured, with no variation in stone or finish. Wear these with a silk organza kurta in ivory or champagne for a festive evening, letting the garnet red do all the speaking. For a wedding guest look, pair them with a deep teal or emerald tissue saree and a simple pulled-back chignon so the full drop is uninterrupted. The earrings are free size, suited to any lobe, and the closure is standard for drop earrings of this style, requiring no specialist fitting. The copper alloy base is lightweight enough for a full evening of wear, and the cut glass retains its brilliance without polishing.
