Description

There are gardens that bloom only in brass and uncut stone. These jhumkas are built around a full floral face, each petal outlined in Polki-style setting where flat, unfoiled stones sit close to the surface of the brass, catching light without competing for it. The form follows a tradition deeply familiar to Jaipur's karigar workshops, where floral medallions have anchored jhumka silhouettes for generations. From the domed base, a cluster of vivid green bead drops descends, their colour carrying the freshness of raw emerald without pretending to be anything other than what it is: a considered, joyful accent. The earring measures approximately six and a half centimetres in height by just over three centimetres in width (2.55 inches by 1.20 inches), and at sixty-two grams the pair carries a satisfying, settled weight on the ear. Wear these with a cotton mul kurta in ivory or ecru for a weekday that deserves a little ceremony. For a festive lunch or a mehendi afternoon, pair them against a raw silk blouse in deep saffron and let the green drops do the rest. The brass base is finished to resist tarnish with regular care, and the free-size hook closure suits most ear piercings without adjustment.
