Description

There is something quietly joyful about a flower rendered in copper, as if the metal itself remembers the gardens it came from. This adjustable bracelet is built around a repeating floral motif, each bloom set with faceted stones that catch light with the directness of cut glass against a warm, burnished copper ground. Copper, long prized in Indian craft traditions for its thermal responsiveness and its affinity with oxidised and polished finishes, lends this piece a quality that gold cannot quite replicate: an honest earthiness. The stones are set in close formation, following the contour of each petal, so the surface reads as a garden in miniature. Measuring approximately 2.8 cm in height and 14 cm in length, and weighing 19 grams, the bracelet sits as a substantial cuff without crowding the wrist. For daytime, pair it with a handloom cotton kurta in indigo or rust, where the copper's warmth deepens against vegetable-dyed cloth. For an evening occasion, it holds its own alongside a silk tissue dupatta and understated Meenakari earrings, letting the stone setting do the work. The free-size adjustable construction means the bracelet accommodates most wrists without fuss, opening gently at the back to slip on and off with ease. The copper finish, being naturally expressive, will develop a gentle patina over time, a quality many wearers come to cherish rather than resist.
