Description
Flowers, it turns out, remember everything. This necklace set draws on the Kundan tradition of Rajasthan, where molten wax and fine foil are laid beneath flat-cut stones to coax fire from surface rather than depth. Here, the motif is floral throughout: blooms set in close formation across a broad choker-width panel, each petal outlined in gold-toned brass and filled with vivid red stones in the characteristic Kundan manner, the setting firm and flush. The brass base, worked to a warm gilded finish, carries the weight of the tradition without the weight of gold, making this a considered choice for those who want the grammar of Jadau-era jewellery rendered in an accessible idiom. The accompanying earrings and maang tikka echo the same floral language, so the set reads as a single, composed thought rather than assembled parts. Wear it with a deep-red or ivory silk lehenga at a winter wedding, where it will settle at the collarbone and draw the eye upward. For a daytime sangeet, pair it over an embroidered anarkali in emerald or blush and let the tikka anchor the centre parting. The necklace panel measures approximately ten centimetres tall and twelve and a half centimetres wide, the earrings roughly seven centimetres by three centimetres, and the tikka nearly thirteen centimetres in length. The full set weighs one hundred and fifty-eight grams. An adjustable dori closure means the necklace sits comfortably across different necklines without alteration.
