Description

There are gardens that bloom in brass and crystal, and this is one of them. The floral clusters at the heart of this choker necklace set are built in the costume-jewellery tradition that draws from Jaipur's bazaar workshops, where brass is cast, polished and set with faceted American diamond stones to mimic the brilliance of fine Polki without the weight of precious metal. Each blossom is composed of a central stone ringed by smaller crystals, the setting open-backed to catch and throw light cleanly. The brass base is finished to a warm tone beneath the stones, giving the piece a quiet luminosity rather than garish shine. Matching drop earrings, measuring approximately 4.3 cm in height and 2.5 cm in width, repeat the floral motif at a scale that complements rather than competes. The full set weighs 60 grams, sitting lightly on the body. In mint or mint blue, this set reads beautifully against ivory silk kurtas and tissue organza dupattas at a daytime wedding reception.
