Description

This floral statement choker set belongs to the great tradition of north Indian bridal jewellery, where the vocabulary of the blooming flower has been reworked century after century by craftsmen working in brass and cut glass. Here, American diamonds, faceted to mirror the light with the precision of Jaipur's stone-setting ateliers, are arranged into full-faced floral clusters across a wide choker measuring 8.75 centimetres (approximately 22.2 cm) across. The choker panel itself rises to a depth of 1.7 inches (approximately 4.3 cm), generous enough to command the décolletage without crowding it. Paired stud earrings, compact at 0.85 inches (approximately 2.2 cm) in both height and width, echo the central floral motif in miniature. The brass base, finished with a polished rhodium-style plating, gives the white and coloured stones their maximum brilliance. Two colourways are offered: blush pink, which carries the warmth of a shagun, and sea green, coolly reminiscent of Jaipur enamel and the pale jadau work of Bikaner havelis.
