Description

There are silhouettes that arrive already knowing how to command a room. This broad, ceremonial necklace is wrought in brass and set with uncut Polki stones in the spirit of the great Rajasthani tradition, where raw, foil-backed diamonds were once the preserve of royal ateliers. The Polki here carries that same quietly opulent logic: each stone is held in an open setting that catches light without competing for it, its irregular surface honest and unground. The necklace spans a generous ten inches in length and four and a half inches in width (approximately 25.4 cm by 11.4 cm), its layered silhouette built wide enough to sit as a plastron across the décolletage. Pearl drops suspended at the lower edge introduce a softening rhythm, their cool lustre moderating the warmth of the brass ground. At 134 grams, the piece holds its shape with quiet authority.
