Description

There is a quietness to this bracelet, the kind that comes from knowing exactly what it is. Polki, in its truest spirit, is the art of setting uncut stones so that light behaves as it would in nature: scattered, layered, alive. Here, that sensibility is translated into brass, a metal with deep roots in Indian decorative tradition, worked into a wide cuff silhouette measuring six inches in length and one point one inches (approximately two point eight centimetres) in width. The stones sit in their settings with the flat, unpolished surface that defines the Polki vocabulary, catching light without competing for it. At twenty-four grams, the bracelet carries genuine presence on the wrist without burden. Two colour stories are offered: a serene sky blue and a clean, unadorned white, each shifting the mood of the same form from celebratory to quietly refined. Wear the sky blue against ivory or cream handloom cotton for an afternoon occasion where you wish to introduce colour with restraint. The white reads beautifully alongside deep jewel-toned silks, a Banarasi or a Kanjeevaram, where its clarity acts as a foil rather than a distraction. The bracelet is free-size and adjustable, designed to sit comfortably across a range of wrist measurements without tools or fuss. The brass base is sturdy and lightweight in wear, making it a practical choice for extended hours. Both colour variants share identical proportions and weight, so the choice between them is simply a matter of mood.
