Coral has long been prized across Indian jewellery traditions, from the fisher-saint temples of Nagercoil to the silver bazaars of Rajasthan, where it appears set in oxidised sterling as a ward against ill-fortune and a celebration of warm colour. These earrings, worked in sterling silver, hold the coral motif at their centre with the quiet confidence of a craft that does not need to shout.
