This multi-strand Kundan choker belongs unmistakably to the Rajasthani tradition of foiled stone-setting, where flat-cut stones are pressed into gold-toned beds of lac and held in place by fine metal wire rather than prong or bezel. Here, that grammar is expressed across several beaded strands that gather and cascade at the collarbone, the surface studded with Kundan-set panels interspersed with smooth and faceted beads whose weight gives each strand a satisfying drape. The brass base, finished to a warm gold tone, carries the craft honestly: no plating is claimed beyond what the material offers, and the overall weight of 105 grams means the piece sits with genuine presence rather than airy lightness.
