Description

There are noses adorned, and then there are noses crowned. This Vilandi nose ring draws from the Rajasthani tradition of flat-set Kundan work, where uncut glass stones are pressed into a gold-foiled brass base with a jeweller's patience rather than a setter's haste. The front panel carries a composed cluster of Kundan stones, each held in place by the delicate wax-and-lac bedding that Jaipur karigars have refined across generations. Extending from the ring, a beaded chain swings with the quiet confidence of a bridal accessory that knows its own lineage. The brass base, finished to a warm golden tone, gives the piece a weight of 6.2 grams that feels present without burden, and the overall height of 1.15 inches (approximately 2.9 cm) ensures it commands attention without overwhelming the face. Pair it with a tissue silk saree and a Meenakari choker for a mehendi morning. Equally at home pinned alongside a hand-block printed cotton kurta for a festive daytime gathering, where its Kundan face catches afternoon light with an unhurried glow. This is a free-size nose ring designed to suit a standard nostril piercing comfortably. The brass construction keeps it lightweight enough for several hours of wear. Being crafted in brass, it is best stored away from moisture to preserve its warm finish over time.
