Description

A bridal set that speaks before the bride even enters the room. This four-piece ensemble brings together a mang tika, matha patti, necklace set and nose ring in gold-toned brass, each piece worked in the tradition of North Indian bridal craft where weight, symmetry and layered surface are the measures of occasion. The brass base lends warmth and depth without the brittleness of lighter alloys, accepting its antique-finish gilding with the generosity of a metal long trusted by karigars across Rajasthan and the old jewellery quarters of Bikaner. The necklace set carries the structural density of Kundan-influenced design, with close-set stones held in foiled settings that catch and return light. The matha patti traces the hairline in the manner of a traditional forehead ornament, meeting the mang tika at the centre parting. The nose ring completes the composition, small and deliberate, following the Rajasthani convention of pairing it with the larger brow ornament. Wear the full set with a heavy Benarasi lehenga in crimson or ivory for a wedding ceremony; or pair only the matha patti and necklace set with a silk Kanjeevaram for a reception where restraint is its own statement. The set is offered in free size, with the mang tika and nose ring adjustable for most wearers. The brass construction resists bending under the weight of ornament, and the finish holds well against the warmth of skin throughout a long ceremonial day.
